GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
1. Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) define the terms and conditions applicable to the linguistic and cultural travel programs and packages offered by Bienvenue à Rennes to foreign participants aged 18 and over.
Acceptance of the GTC
By accepting the quotation and proceeding with the payment of the deposit, the participant acknowledges having read and fully accepted these GTC. This acceptance constitutes a contract between the participant and Bienvenue à Rennes.
The quotation constitutes the basis of the offer. Any service not expressly mentioned in the quotation is not included in the program.·
2. Programs Offered
- Seasonal programs: Winter, Spring, Summer, Autumn (1 to 4 weeks)
- Long-term programs: 6 months to 1 year (always specified on the quotation)
- Customized group trips: for students or specific groups
- Teacher training programs and specific groups
- “Paris & Brittany – travel only” stays
- Each program includes:
- Language courses according to level
- Cultural activities and excursions
- Accommodation only if specified in the quotation
- Assistance and support
- Exact details are specified in the quotation.
2.1 Exclusions
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, the following are not included in the services:
- International and local transportation costs (airfare, train, bus, etc.)
- Visa fees and all related administrative procedures
- Personal insurance (health, civil liability, repatriation, etc.)
- The Participant’s personal expenses
- Meals not expressly stated as included
- Accommodation and related charges, unless covered by a specific option
- Registration and examination fees for official language exams (including DELF/DALF)
- Personal learning materials
- Entrance fees to museums, monuments, and cultural sites, unless expressly included in the quotation
- Any activity, outing, visit, or service not expressly stated as included in the program
The Organizer shall not be held liable for any costs incurred by the Participant outside the services expressly provided for in the contract.
3. Registration and Payment Terms
- Secure payment via Stripe or PayPal
- Accepted payment methods: credit/debit card, PayPal, Klarna, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, Multibanco, etc.
Initial payment: 50% deposit upon booking (or another condition according to quotation).
Remaining balance: payable in several installments at no extra cost, provided that full payment is completed at least 3 months before the start of the program. Failure to complete full payment will result in cancellation of the program, and no refund will be granted.
4. Modification of Program Dates
- The participant may modify the program dates up to two (2) times. Any additional modification will result in a price adjustment due to inflation.
- Bienvenue à Rennes may postpone the program up to two (2) times for logistical reasons or insufficient number of participants. In such cases, new dates will be proposed, and the participant may choose the most suitable option.
- Final program confirmation is provided at least 3 months before the start date. The participant must wait for this confirmation before purchasing flight tickets. Bienvenue à Rennes is not responsible for any losses other than the program price.·
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Force majeure: natural disasters, conflicts, strikes, pandemics, legal restrictions, etc. Each situation will be reviewed individually.
- Visa refusal: 90% refund (excluding administrative and agency fees). Bienvenue à Rennes cannot guarantee visa approval.
- Right of withdrawal: the participant has 14 days from the signing of the quotation to withdraw and receive a full refund.
6. Liability
Bienvenue à Rennes cannot be held responsible for:
- Air or ground transportation not included in the package
- Losses resulting from the purchase of tickets before program confirmation
- Visa approval, although guidance may be provided
- The participant must inform Bienvenue à Rennes of any disability or specific needs at the time the quotation is prepared so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
7. Image Rights
- The participant authorizes the use of photos and videos taken during the programs for promotional purposes by Bienvenue à Rennes, unless prior written refusal is provided.·
8. Exceptional Program Modifications
- Although programs are defined in the quotation, Bienvenue à Rennes reserves the right to modify certain details (activities, excursions, accommodation) for logistical, safety, or unforeseen reasons. Any changes will be communicated to the participant as soon as possible.
9. Mediation and Disputes
- In the event of a dispute, the parties will seek an amicable resolution. Failing this, the dispute may be brought before the competent courts of Rennes, France.
10. Confidentiality and Personal Data Protection
All information and documents exchanged (ID documents, program information, prices, personal documents) are strictly confidential and may not be shared with third parties.
- Bienvenue à Rennes complies with European data protection regulations (GDPR). Data collected is used solely for registration management, program organization, and communication with participants.
- Participants have the right to access, rectify, delete, and object to the processing of their personal data in accordance with GDPR. To exercise these rights, they may contact: contact@bienvenuearennes.com

11. Languages
These GTC are primarily drafted in French. An English version is provided for informational purposes only.
12. Acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
This electronic signature legally binds the participant and constitutes a contract between the participant and Bienvenue à Rennes (PA’TIN GLAZE SAS).
Acceptance of the quotation and payment of the deposit imply full and unconditional acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions (GTC).
The participant acknowledges that acceptance of the GTC may be completed electronically. By accepting the quotation and/or proceeding with the payment of the deposit, the participant:
acknowledges having read and understood these GTC;
accepts that this consent constitutes an electronic signature with the same legal value as a handwritten signature.
Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, French courts shall have jurisdiction.
